Elizabeth + Michael – Summerfield Farms

Elizabeth and Michael are a stunning couple and were married on an absolutely stunning day in September at Summerfield Farms, in Summerfield, North Carolina. They are both lawyers, so you might not expect it, but they are SUCH a fun couple and were a blast to plan this wedding with. The colors we used as inspiration during planning were grey, navy, blush and creams. The ceremony was held on the farms property at ‘the little tree’ (which is actually a giant tree in a beautiful field) followed by dinner under a tent and dancing in the barn.

The couple couldn’t leave out their two fur-babies during their special day, so their oldest dog was their flower girl and their new resue, a three-legged dog named Dan, served as the ring bearer!

Michael is a craft beer lawyer, with his own practice, so we incorporated the couples love for craft beer by having a speciality bar at the wedding with beers brewed by local breweries just for them with adorable wedding themed names like ‘There She Gose’ and “Wheat Belong Together’! The bar had personalized cups that doubled as favors for the guests. The couple truly wanted their guests to have a fun and comfortable experience, so they decided to have dinner served family style.

The groomsmen and groom surprised Elizabeth with a dance to ’24k Magic’ by Bruno Mars complete with throwing money in the air! She was so shocked and it was such a fun moment for the guests that really opened the dance floor up. The guests partied all night long until the couple was sent off with sparklers!
