Hi there! My name is Carly, and I am the owner + lead planner of Carly Marie Events! I come from an broad event background with over seven years in the industry! I previously worked for an amazing wedding & event planning company in Raleigh, North Carolina where I planned, designed and coordinated dozens of weddings and events of all sizes. I have also managed the rentals and design + layout of numerous weddings and events during my time as manager at a full-service event company in the triangle.
I am now living in Greensboro, North Carolina and am so excited about launching CME!
I am the biggest romantic you will ever meet. I love, love. I love being around people who are in love. Wedding planning is such an amazing career! Knowing that I am able to be a part of, and help my clients create, the happiest day of their lives gives me all the feels.
A fews facts about me:
- My personal style is very classic with a twist – think little black dress, but with an amazing pair of high heels
- You can find me working on my laptop sitting at a coffee or cocktail bar, preferably with my black lab, Reese, at my feet
- I love going to the movies, and am a sucker for a good sitcom
- I love to cook!
- I am 15 minutes early to everything (a blessing and a curse)
- My perfect meal is buffalo chicken pizza and red wine
- Dahlias and Ranunculus are my favorite flowers
