Reece + Marty – Summerfield Farms

I am so excited to FINALLY share Reece and Marty’s gorgeous fall wedding at Summerfield Farms! If you are looking for boho wedding inspiration, you have found the right place!

Reece and her mom, Kevyn, reached out to me in October 2020, and over the next year we had the best time planning Reece and Marty’s October 2021 wedding (hello weekly zoom meetings with cocktails)! Reece and Kevyn told me all about their vision for a beautiful bohemian wedding with lots of moody and unique details, but most importantly a super FUN reception. I was hooked. I live for a fun wedding design and a cocktail style reception. Brides who have a vision and love to party and dance are my kind of people, so I knew this wedding was going to be one of my favorites of all time.

With a full-service wedding, we get started by talking through the vision of the wedding, what aspects are most important and least important, which helps me to create their unique wedding budget spreadsheet. I take the overall amount they are looking to stay within, and then allocate money to each item based on what we want to achieve! For Reece and Marty, they wanted beautiful flowers, a great party, and an awesome guest experience.

The venue was set for Summerfield Farms with the ceremony at the Little Tree, and the reception in the Main Barn. We choose to work with FLORA, because I knew that they would create the most gorgeous bohemian wedding florals. And of course, 1618 on Location because they can create amazing food stations that allow for a perfectly flowing cocktail style reception. Q with K2 Productions always keeps guests on the dance floor, so that was another no-brainer. Courtney Paige Photography and Point 200 were going to perfectly capture their day, so these memories we spent a year cultivating could last a lifetime! Definitely Blush & Bobby’s for that perfect wedding glam. Add in some STUNNING rentals from Party Makers and The Prettiest Pieces, and you have the perfect fall boho wedding!

Some of my favorite aspects of the wedding design included the layered rug runner and white urns used for decor at the ceremony, the custom watercolor painting of their ceremony site (the Little Tree) for their guest book, the epic floral installations around the dance floor hanging from the tent ceiling, and the multiple lounges for guests to hang out in!

Some of my favorite moments from the wedding day included the first look (so so sweet!), the wedding party digging up the bourbon (always a favorite), Reece getting to see the reception tent for the first time before the guests came in (seeing what you have been conceptually talk about for year is so amazing!), and all the guests absolutely tearing up the dance floor all night.

This wedding will go down as one of my favorites of all time, and I am so happy to finally share it with you.
