Top 10 Outdoor Places to Eat in the Triad

Summer is here! One of our favorite things to do is dine Al Fresco! Cocktails are more refreshing, food is yummier, it is all about atmosphere people! Below are a list of just SOME of our favorite places to hang out outside around the Triad. We are always looking for new spots, so send us your recommendations!

Greensboro

Green Valley Grill
Green Valley Grill located in the O.Henry hotel has gorgeous outdoor seating with ALL the greenery. You are totally transported when dining Al Fresco there. Our favorite item to order here is the Mediterranean Street Fries for an appetizer, and the Parmesan Crusted Chicken.

Natty Greene’s Brewing Company
Natty Greene’s is a great downtwon place to enjoy a beer, watch the people (and train) go by and enjoy some delicious food! Best part? I can bring my dog! We love to order the Hog Dip and a Wildflower pint!

Scrambled
Scrambled is one of the best breakfast/brunch places in Greensboro! Their biscuits are to die for, and come with anything you order. Our favorite item to order at Scrambled is the Corn Beef Hash or the French Toast. Bring on the mimosas.

Print Works Bistro
Print Works is so chic and has the cutest outdoor seating. Located at the Proximity Hotel, you can stay the night and then treat yourself to a great meal. Everything here is good, but especially their brunch. Our favorite item to order at Print Works is the Avocado Toast or the Eggs Benedict.

Lindley Park Filling Station
Lindley Park is the best place to go if you want a good sandwich or appetizers. Our favorite appetizers to order are the Fried Pickle Chips or the Chicken Wings. In our opinion, the best sandwiches are The Ridgeway or the Madison Avenue, but you can’t go wrong with anything here.

Winston-Salem

The Old Fourth Street Filling Station
We love the Filling Stations in Winston-Salem! It has great outdoor seating and the best drink selections. If you love craft beer, good food, and a fun outdoor setting, this is the place to go! Our favorite thing to order is the Winston’s Best Calamari, which is so fresh, and the Autumn Salad with chicken.

The Porch Kitchen and Cantina
The Porch has some of the best Mexican food in Winston. Their margaritas are so fresh and creative, you’ll want to drink them all! Our favorite margarita is the strawberry habanero margarita. If you love spicy stuff, this is the thing for you! We have so many favorite entrées to order it is hard to narrow it down to one, but you can never go wrong with Porch Taco Plate.

Mozelle’s Fresh Southern Bistro
Mozelle’s is the perfect place to eat outside and enjoy a glass of wine and a charcuterie board. Their outdoor seating is the perfect atmosphere to sit and relax. If you are staying for entrees, we recommend the shrimp and grits!

Incendiary Brewing + Cugino Forno Pizzeria
These two count as one! They are next to each other, and with their outdoor seating you can enjoy both at the same time. The beer at Incendiary is so good, and the outside seating is one of the best in Winston-Salem. They usually will have live music during the week or on the weekends, so it is always fun to go get a couple beers and a pizza here! (There is a Cugino Forno in Greensboro as well at Revolution Mills!)

Village Tavern
This counts as a Winston-Salem and a Greensboro favorite. Their brunch is the best, and sitting outside on a Sunday morning enjoying a Mimosa or Bloody Mary is the perfect way to spend your “wedding hangover” (our term for when we are so tired after a wedding we just need someone to make our food and drinks for us). Our favorite item to order here is either the Huevos Rancheros or the Pimento Cheese and Bacon Biscuits.
