Why did you choose the venue you chose?
“Jonathan and I met in Greensboro so it was where both of us wanted to get married. I had heard of summerfield farms before, but had never been. The moment we got to the farm I knew it was the place I wanted to marry him!”
Any other vendors you chose for a special reason?
“We researched a lot before choosing our vendors. All of the people we choose came personally recommended from someone we knew.”
What was your favorite part of wedding planning?
“Hiring a coordinator…haha. No, I truly did enjoy the wedding planning process. Creating a vision inside your head and watching it come to life is the best part.”
What was your least favorite part of wedding planning?
“Having to patiently wait for the RSVP’s to come in…up until then you have total control over the process, but then it is left up to everyone else.”
Did you have a theme or “vibe” that guided your planning?
“I never gave it a name, but a little bit rustic, a little bit vintage & a little bit of class.”
What did you want your guest experience to be?
“We first and foremost wanted God to be glorified, and for people to see that. We also had people traveling from all over-some very far, so we wanted to make them feel at home & also like they were on a high class vacation!”
What was your favorite moment of your wedding day?
“There isn’t one moment – the entire day was pure Joy!”
What was your favorite personal detail or item on your wedding day?
“My Gram’s ring was pinned inside my dress. She wasn’t there, but I know what she would have said if she was <3”
What was your favorite part of the décor on the wedding day?
“No doubt – the dessert table/display. Also my flowers were AMAZING.”
