Planning a wedding during a pandemic is not easy. For Brittany and John, it meant postponing their wedding twice, and then ultimately deciding to scale it down entirely to just close family and friends. Working with these two during such a difficult time, brought back the reminder of what your wedding day is really supposed to be about. The couple, and the love they have for each other!
After everything, their wedding day could not have been more beautiful! On a gorgeous spring day, these two tied the knot at an outdoor ceremony overlooking a lake followed by a small cocktail reception. The original design plan included a lot of fall inspired looks, but after a little tweaking they worked flawlessly as the perfect spring set-up!
A few details I loved…
Brittany’s dad made the arbor the two tied the knot in front of. It is also so meaningful when family members can be involved in such a special way. The first look was absolutely tear-jerking! Between the grooms emotional repsonse, to the big reveal of his custom suit liner. The couple mixed and matched bridesmaids, groomsmen, groomswomen and bridesmen! We love a non-traditional ceremony line-up!
Enjoy the beautiful photos, and the work from this amazing vendor team!
