Why did you choose the venue you chose?
“I used to drive by WinMock every day in high school, and always knew it would be an absolute dream to get married there! Rebecca and the team was exceptional to work with, and the day could not possibly have been more beautiful.”
Any other vendors you chose for a special reason?
“The short answer // We loved working with ALL of our vendors!! Our initial meetings with Megan Travis Photography, Carly Marie Events, and Mickey from Sedgefield Florist were amazing. The Beauty Tribe did an phenomenal job, and we were told by many friends that Mike from K2 Productions was the best wedding DJ they had ever heard. I also love the mission behind Providence Catering (be sure to check them out!).”
What was your favorite part of wedding planning?
“I loved the beginning stages of connecting with our team of vendors, and brainstorming all the possibilities!”
What was your least favorite part of wedding planning?
“The last minute details! And waiting to marry my best friend :)”
Did you have a theme or “vibe” that guided your planning?
“I did my best to stick with a very simple, rustic feel.”
What did you want your guest experience to be?
“We wanted the guest experience to be FUN!”
What was your favorite moment of your wedding day?
“I can’t pick just one moment! Getting ready all morning with the bridesmaids was so fun, the first look was the BEST, and the ceremony was so special to us. I also loved the speeches and the dancing!”
What was your favorite personal detail or item on your wedding day?
“During the ceremony, we displayed the act of serving one another by washing each other’s feet as Christ also showed service in this way.”
What was your favorite part of the décor on the wedding day?
“The FLOWERS!! The bouquets, the boutonnières, and the Arbor were all absolutely stunning.”
