Scott and Cynthia had a beautiful Spring wedding at the McAlister Leftwich house in Downtown Greensboro, North Carolina on May 7, 2022.
The original vision for the design was an outside garden ceremony, but with the chance of rain on their wedding day they ultimately made the best decision to the rain plan in to place and have the ceremony inside with a fast flip after the ceremony during cocktail hour. The ceremony was held on the McAlister side of the McAlister Leftwich House. With the rain falling outside the gorgeous windows made the ceremony even more romantic. Something about rain always makes everything feel more romantic! Using the grand staircase for Cynthia’s entrance to the ceremony was an absolute MOMENT.

The train looked like flower petals! It was simply flawless on Cynthia.
One of my favorite moments of their wedding day was how Scott and Cynthia made it a point to thank every single one of their guests for coming to celebrate their big day and take a photo with them. It was very important to them to do this and you could tell the guests were very happy they chose to do this. It was a special moment for Scott and Cynthia.
Another favorite part was the champagne scrolls with guests names and table numbers on them for their seats at dinner! It was an elegant touch to their beautiful wedding! And of course, the kids in attendance got sparkling juice!
Seeing Scott and Cynthia’s love throughout the planning process was amazing. They really made an effort to plan the wedding together, so they were both there for every meeting which just made it even more fun. You could tell they were truly happy to plan their wedding together and that’s exactly what they did! They were such a joy to work with!
