Shannon & Spencer Welch had a beautiful spring wedding at Board & Batten on April 2nd, 2022! 

We knew the chance of spring showers on a Saturday in April (why is it always a Saturday!?), and had, thankfully, already decided on having their wedding ceremony inside the beautiful venue, since rain decided to make an appearance the morning of wedding day! You know how they say “rain on your wedding day is good luck”? It is because it signifies that your marriage will last! A wet knot is harder to untie. Rain or not, Shannon and Spencer’s love was shining all day long!

Shannon knew she wanted to have a more polished and elegant look for her wedding party, so she had her bridesmaids wearing all white and the groom, Spencer, wore a white tuxedo jacket with black pants!

One of my favorite parts of wedding day was how much the bride and grooms dog, Scout, was involved. I absolutely love dogs, so I love when people incorporate them on wedding day. Scout was with Shannon while she got ready, during her first look with her girls, during the ceremony, bride & groom photos and even on the dance floor!

Another favorite moment was when we served the late night pizza. A late night snack is always a hit – and who doesnt love pizza??

Working with Shannon and Spencer was such a great experience, they as such kind hearted people and I am so glad they chose to work with us to make their wedding day exactly everything they wanted and more!
